My Free Verse Poem
I'm learning about all these different types of poems. One of them is a free verse . A free verse poem lets you use any type of language feature you like, like similes, onomatopoeia, adjectives, absolutely anything. This is one of the poems I wrote.
Bells
Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong!
Bells are like thunder but with a beautiful sound.
Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong!
When you look under the bell of gold,
It looks like a gold crystal.
Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong!
When you look through the window,
to see the bells, all you can see
is the sad, smooth, crystal bell.

My free verse poem
My free verse poem is on knives. I have two knives and that inspired me to write this poem. This my poem.
KNIVES
I have travelled everywhere from your hand,
to the other side of the world.
I can saw through the air like a albatross,
Swoosh,swish,swoosh,swish!
I can be lost in ancient battles,
Never be found.
I might never see anyone again under the sand and rocks!
I am a knife.

My onomatopoeia poem
At school I wrote a poem about my lunch time. I included onomatopoeia. This is it:
Lunch time
Swoosh, swish,
There goes the ball.
Crash, scratch, ow!
People running up and down.
Ring ding,ring ding,
The bell rings,
Oh oh oh,
The annoyed children hated the fun police bell!

Oh oh oh,
The annoyed children hated the fun police bell!

: There is method in my madness :.Mrs. M taught me how to make a slideshow on William Shakespeare.

Science Experiment Investigation and Myths
In my class for homework we are doing a science fair and mine is on crystals. I can't believe that to make a big crystal, the water has to cool slower to make the crystal big. I find this fascinating. I'm also doing another homework activity on myths. I have to read 5 myths and have done an activity on each one that I read. I have done 3. These are the activities.
I have changed the ending of a myth, made a comic strip and I've written interview questions for a character. This is some of my work.

Hi
I’m a Year four student at a primary school in Townsville.
My hobbies are swimming, rugby union and hockey. My goals are to
become an Olympic swimmer and sail around the world when I grow up.
In the holidays I like to swim, sail and go on long distance bike rides.
I hope that I will get a sailing boat one day.
